Personal Mission & Legacy
Born on November 20, 1984, in Louisiana, Cagney transformed four decades of personal adversity—including childhood trauma and domestic violence—into a purposeful mission centered on justice, healing, and systemic reform. Guided by faith and integrity, she focuses on solutions rather than victimhood.
“You are not what happened to you. You are who you decide to become after. I decided I will be nothing less than great.”
A devoted mother to her daughters Zoe and Paige, Cagney draws her greatest motivation from her children. Their accomplishments include a 2024 STEM Award for designing trainable robot pets. The family currently resides on their family farm in Michigan, where Cagney continues her work in healthcare, legislative reform, community advocacy, education, and survivor support.
